Public answers. After you rate an answer 4 or 5 stars, Wisecall asks if others may learn from it. You see your question as it would be published: names, emails, phone numbers, links, @handles and long numbers are removed automatically, and you can edit it (up to 1,000 characters). Your name is never shown. The mentor agrees too (and may edit the public version of their answer), and our team checks every answer before it is public. Either of you can take it down at any time from your dashboard; the page disappears at once.
For mentors: in Settings → Mentor choose Ask me each time (the default), Always allow or Never. Published answers appear on your profile under "Public answers", with a button for readers to ask you their own question.
Regulated fields (medicine, law, finance and the others that need a licence) are published only when our team explicitly allows it, and the page always says the answer is personal experience, not professional advice for the reader's situation.
Find me a mentor. If Browse has nobody for you, press Can't find the right person? Tell us who you need. Write the field in your own words, choose the closest category, say what you need (20 to 500 characters, no contact details), and optionally a language and a budget. If you are not signed in, confirm the request from the email we send. When a matching mentor joins, you get one email with their profile. Every email has a link that removes your request, and requests end after 60 days.
The board of requests shows how many people are looking for each field, without names. Your request's text appears there only if you ticked Show my request anonymously.
