You get your money back automatically, without asking, when:
- the mentor doesn't answer within 7 days of your payment;
- the mentor declines your question (it's outside what they can answer well, or against our rules): you see the reason;
- one of a new mentor's first answers is rejected by our team during its check;
- the mentor is suspended while your question is still open.
That's always the full price, including Wisecall's fee.
After you've received an answer An answer is a delivered service, so disliking or disagreeing with it isn't a reason for a refund: an honest review is the way to say that. But if the answer doesn't answer your question, is wrong or could cause harm, is about something else, or is rude, use Report a problem with this answer in your Dashboard within 7 days of being able to read it. A person on our team reads the question and the answer and decides: a full refund, a partial refund, or none, and tells you why. The mentor's payout for that question waits until then.
How long does it take? We ask the bank for the refund straight away. The money goes back to the card you paid with; your bank decides how soon it shows on your statement (often a few working days). You get an email and a refund receipt when it's done. Until then your dashboard shows "Refund in progress".
Please contact us before disputing the payment with your bank. It's usually faster, and we can fix the problem first.
Didn't pay in the end? If you cancelled on the bank's page or the payment failed, you weren't charged, so there's nothing to refund.
